Brand monitoring

Brand monitoring tracks mentions of your brand, product, or any keywords across social sources — Telegram, YouTube, Reddit, Bluesky and Mastodon. Every mention found is automatically analyzed by AI: it detects sentiment, relevance and writes a short summary. That way you learn about negativity before anyone else, find potential customers and keep your finger on the pulse of your niche.

The “Monitoring” section is available on the STARTER plan and above.

Why you need it

  • Catch negativity before anyone else. A complaint in a public channel or a Reddit thread reaches you within half an hour, not a week later — you have time to react before the discussion blows up.
  • Find leads. People often ask “can you recommend a service for…” — a keyword mention leads you straight to a warm customer.
  • Keep an eye on your niche. Add not only your brand to monitoring, but also the name of your product category or competitors — you’ll see what the audience is talking about.

How to create a monitor

  1. Open the “Monitoring” section in the sidebar and click the create monitor button.
  2. Give the monitor a name — for example, “Brand” or “Niche”.
  3. Add keywords: the brand name, product, common spellings and typos. The total keyword limit across all monitors depends on your plan — check the current value in the “Plan” section in the app.
  4. Choose the sources to search for mentions in.
  5. If you want, specify a language — the search will focus on mentions in that language. You can leave it empty, then the language won’t be restricted.

How checks work

  • Monitors are checked automatically roughly every 30 minutes.
  • You can run a check manually — the “Now” button on the monitor card. It will immediately show how many new mentions were found.
  • Repeated finds aren’t duplicated: the same mention appears in the feed only once.
  • A monitor can be temporarily turned off — the settings are saved, and checks stop.

AI analysis of mentions

Every new mention automatically goes through AI analysis:

ParameterWhat it shows
SentimentPositive, neutral or negative — how the author speaks about the brand
RelevanceHow much the mention actually relates to your brand, rather than a random word match
SummaryA digest of the mention’s gist — in the original language

This way you can quickly scan dozens of mentions without opening each one: negativity and important things are visible right away from the sentiment badges.

Working with the mentions list

The section page is split into two parts: on the left — the list of monitors, on the right — the feed of mentions.

  • Filters — by monitor, by sentiment, unread only.
  • For each mention you can see the source, author, the keyword that triggered, the publication date and a link to the original.
  • A mention can be marked as read or archived so you don’t return to it.

Notifications

You get an in-app notification about new mentions — “A brand mention was found”. So as not to overwhelm you during a spike in discussions, notifications come no more than once an hour per monitor: the first mention sends a notification, the rest within that hour simply appear in the feed.

FAQ

Why wasn’t a mention found? Check that the keyword is written the same way as in the publication, the source is enabled in the monitor, and for Telegram the right channel is specified. The search covers only public content.

Can I track Instagram or TikTok? Not yet — the list of sources is expanding, stay tuned for updates.

What does low relevance mean? The AI decided that the text is more likely about something else, and the keyword matched by chance. You can safely archive such mentions.
