Client Review
Client Review is a way to show an agency’s client the finished posts and get their “ok” without setting them up with a Repost21 account. You create a personal link, send it to the client, and they open the review page, look at the posts, and click Approve, Request changes, or Reject — right in the browser, no sign-up or install required.
The section is available on the PRO plan and above. You can open it in the app — the Client Review menu item.
How to create a link
- Open the Client Review section and click “New link”.
- Enter the client’s name (so you can tell later whose link it is) and, if you like, their email.
- Optionally limit the link to specific social networks — pick the accounts with chips. If you don’t select anything, the client will see posts across all of the team’s channels.
- Create the link and copy it right away.
The number of active links depends on your plan. Your current limit is in the «Plan» section in the app.
What the client sees and does
The client opens the link and lands on a minimalist review page — without your interface, just the posts waiting for review. For each post they see the text, media, and a “how it will look” preview, and pick one of the actions:
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Approve | The post is approved. A scheduled one goes into the publishing schedule |
| Request changes | The post is returned to the author’s drafts along with a comment — the author revises it and submits it for review again |
| Reject | The post gets the “Rejected” status and is not published; the client specifies the reason |
The page refreshes on its own when new posts appear for review — the client doesn’t need to reload it manually.
Comments and markups
The client doesn’t have to approve or reject “as a whole” — they can leave precise feedback:
- A comment on a fragment of text. The client selects a piece of the post’s text and writes a note (“better to rephrase this as…”). The selected fragment is highlighted.
- A markup on an image. The client places a dot right on the image and leaves a comment about a specific spot.
You see all of these notes in the Content plan: a block with the client’s comments appears on the post — with the author, the quote, and the text. Resolved notes can be marked as done so you don’t lose track of what’s already been taken into account.
Revoking a link
A link can be revoked at any moment — the button is in the list of active links. After it’s revoked, it stops working: when the client opens it, they’ll see that access is closed. This is handy when a project is finished or a link accidentally ended up in the wrong place.
Connection with team review
Client Review works together with the team’s internal content review, not instead of it:
- If the team has an approval chain set up, the client on the link can be assigned as a reviewer at the right stage. The system figures out on its own what stage a post is at: the action becomes available to the client when the post reaches their stage.
- Without a chain, the client simply approves the posts you’ve sent for review — and your team sees their decisions and comments in the Content plan.
This way the client takes part in the process exactly as much as needed: they see only what you’ve shown them, and have no access to any other of the team’s sections or data.
